POPCORN HAVEN

While attending my family reunion this past weekend in Sandy Spring, GA I stumbled upon this little gem called “popcorn haven”. Initially when I passed this place it was closed, but I noticed that the sign mentioned they had 250 flavors of popcorn
“How can that be” I thought to myself and out loud to everyone that I mentioned this place to. I even sat down with family members to discuss what these flavors could be. I mean any one in their right mind can come up with at least 7 flavors of popcorn but that other 243 flavors escaped me, so I had to get back there, no QUESTION.

Upon entering you are faced with a wall of huge tubs of popcorn of all flavors and I mean ALL FLAVORS. It reminded me of the Harry Potter (no I don’t watch that, I’m an adult) Jelly Bean edition where you get odd flavors like Salt and Pepper and Dill pickle (and booger, but they didn’t have that flavor of popcorn). So I was immediately drawn to the counter with my hands out for samples. Can you believe that my mother an I sampled popcorn for almost an hour?? NUTS.

This is a “faith based” establishment that is closed on Sunday. They play gospel/church music too. Not that that added or took away anything, just thought you would like to know that. As to keep you from saying “Holy shit this is good” when you get a flavor you like.

The popcorn is sold by bag and to honest a mini bag is all you need if you just want to munch and you can get two flavors per mini bag.

I purchased: Cap N’ Crunch, Crab Leg, Bacon & Cheddar, Jalapeno Ranch, Cheddar and Carmel, Rainbow Mix (consisting of their candy flavors like green apple, cherry, grape etc..) and cheese coated Carmel. When I sampled the bacon and cheddar, I said “this would go great with scrambled egg flavored popcorn” to that Benjamin replied “we have that at our other store.” thank blew my mind!

Now that I am back home, I realized that I may have overdone it as I sit here staring at 3 bags of unopened, dumb flavored popcorn!
