SUICIDE OF A FASHIONISTA

So I came across this article about 22 year old fashionista who jumped to her death the other day (which happened to be her birthday) from the Hudson bridge following a heated argument on facebook with her bestfriend, that ended with the BFF telling her to “Go try to kill yourself on Xanax again, you unstable loser. Go f—k yourself and never speak to me again.”
A couple of buzz words stick out at me that I need some assistance with.
1. “Fashionista” - What the hell is that and when did it become a title?
2. “Jumped to her Death” - I thought this only happened in China.
3. “Heated argument on Facebook” - Who has time for that? I mean, it takes for ever for the facebook app to refresh on my phone.
