House of Dereon Hosts #First #Friday #FoodTruckFest
@HODMC (House of Dereon Media Center) hosts Food Truck Friday’s the first friday of each month. Where the hottest food trucks in Houston park and serve the “hipsters” in the city…like myself (joke). The event is free from 11a-2p and is so worth it, a little break from the office to enjoy the beautiful outdoors can’t be beat.
There was a DJ spinning the best music from Michael Jackson to Lynard Skynnard and St. Arnold’s was on hand giving out Santos and Root beer samples!!
SAVORY courtesy of @fraicheKitchen (taught my friend @_Freeberry how to pronounce that word. Proud of me?) We over-indulged on the Veggie burger with Tots and Sirracha mayo AND the Lamb burger with sweet potato fries. I LOVE THIS FOOD TRUCK…let’s be best friends…I will follow you where ever you go!
SWEETS courtesy of @eatsieboys - Salted Carmel and Bacon, Gingerbread Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich. The cookie was great, the bacon is the ice cream was a bit overpowering and not as “salty/sweet” as I would have thought. 3 1/2 Stars.
